Non-profit

STEAM on Wheels is an IRS certified for Section 501(c)(3). We are completely not for profit and volunteer based. All of our donations go straight into helping fund materials for our classes and services.

Our Story

In 2018, Mr. Sam McCullum moved into the STEAM on Wheels building on State Street. This would begin a journey to impact more than 100 kids in summer camps and classes. At the start, class enrollment was small and there were heavy logistical challenges. Through the years, STEAM on Wheels has grown with the help of volunteers into a passionate classroom for everyone to learn. The classes offered have expanded and the hearts of our students continue to be touched everyday. We have captured the power of STEAM.

Who We Are

We at STEAM On Wheels are dedicated to introducing children to engaging subject matter that will one day encourage them to become inventors, scientists, innovators, and future leaders. Many students are not able to find the motivation to pursue further study in their regular education- particularly outside of the usual pathways. At STEAM on Wheels, we hope to change the thinking of young people to open up greater possibilities and let them know how much power and influence they can cultivate through education and application of knowledge.
