STEAM on Wheels @ The Pavilion
What to Expect: Each 90-minute session brings a new adventure in making and building. Young innovators will print 3D Minecraft characters, design with 3D pens, engineer laser-cut vehicles, construct custom Monsters Inc. creations, solve VR puzzles, and tackle large-scale logic challenges using Pentomino and Soma puzzles.
Time: 10:30-noon
Ages: 5-15 years old
Family engagement required, parents attend (no drop-offs).
SATURDAY, JANUARY 17th
A LASER CUT TRACTOR, HELICOPTER OR AIRPLANE
Students assemble their own wooden tractor, car or airplane using laser-cut materials. Each participant receives a laser-engraved bookmark.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 31st
3D PRINTED MINECRAFT CHARACTERS
Participants print their favorite Minecraft characters and explore 3D modeling concepts.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14th
3D PEN CREATIONS: Glasses, Keychains & Rings
Students solve puzzles and color in 3D spaces using virtual reality.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28th
LARGE-SCALE LOGIC PUZZLES
Collaborative team challenges using large Pentomino and Soma puzzles.
SATURDAY, MARCH 14th
MONSTERS INC. BUILD
Assortment of pieces are made on the laser cutter, and the participants can build their own monster pieces made on laser cutter.

VIRTUAL REALITY PUZZLES & COLORING
Students solve puzzles and color in 3D spaces using virtual reality.
